Ray:

The new direct access file with solor fluxes and geophysical indices
for tgcm17 inputs is ready to be tested. I have read the file but 
have not run the model with it yet. 

All you need to do is change your mod decks as follows:

All occurrences of 92031 should be changed to 94080
  (this is the last date on the file. It is in comments, is
   in some data statements, and file names)

All occurrences of 4779 should be changed to 5559
  (this is number of records (days) in the file).

Maybe you could make these changes in one of your mod decks
(say timesgcm.nmc.mods1) and make a test run. If it looks like its
working ok, I can go ahead and make the changes in your other decks.
