Ray:

Add the following to your tgcm24 input file to get the
new gpi data file. This file goes through day 59 of 2002,
but I think you can only request through day 57, for interpolation
purposes.

; gpi (Geophysical Indices):
; gpi_ncfile: mss path or file path to netcdf gpi data file
; If gpi_ncfile is set, gpi data is read and used.
;
 gpi_ncfile = '/TGCM/data/gpi_1979001-2002059.nc'

Setting this file will turn on the gpi option in the model.
Also remember to comment out any/all gpi settings you have in the 
input file, e.g.:

;F107 = 100.
;F107A =100.
;POWER=  5.
;CTPOTEN=30.
 
And remember CALDAY must be the same as START model day, for
the calendar time advance. 

Please try this out today to make sure it works, since I will not 
be back in the office until 4/1.
