I have saved tiegcm1.8dev2 (cvs source tag tiegcm1-8dev2).

To use this model at either SCD or HAO, set the following 
in the .job file:

   set model       = tiegcm1.8dev2
   set tgcmroot    = $TGCMROOT/dev

This assumes $TGCMROOT=/fis/hao/tgcm (at SCD), or
             $TGCMROOT=/home/tgcm (at HAO).

I have also saved tar files at:

  $TGCMROOT/dev/tiegcm1.8dev2.tar.Z (both hao and scd)

  http://download.hao.ucar.edu/pub/tgcm/tar/tiegcm1.8dev2.tar
  (same as hao /toshi/ftp/pub/tgcm/tar/tiegcm1.8dev2.tar)

  mss:/TGCM/tiegcm/tiegcm1.8dev2.tar

  When these tar files are extracted, they leave a directory "tiegcm"
  containing the src, doc, and scripts subdirectories. Then you
  can "set model = tiegcm" and "set tgcmroot = ." in the .job script.

I'm hoping we can make the pre-release of tiegcm1.8 to HAO
by around May 6th. That can be saved as $TGCMROOT/dev/tiegcm1.8.
After tuning, we will make the "official" release of tiegcm1.8 in
$TGCMROOT/tiegcm1.8.  From that, we can develop code toward tiegcm2.0.

I'm also thinking maybe we can freeze some histories from the
tiegcm1.8 pre-release, in say $TGCMDATA/tiegcm1.8, as a reference
for dev/tiegcm1.8 results during tuning.
