To: ti(e)gcm users From: Ben Foster Re: tigcmproc correction Date: 9/29/92 There was an error in the comments for the lexical read inputs in the tigcmproc script I sent a week ago. When IDEN = 2, species are converted to mass densities (gm/cm3), NOT number density mixing ratios. The lexical input comments should read: C IDEN = 0 -> leave species as on history (most are mass mixing ratios) C IDEN = 1 -> convert species to number densities (cm3) C IDEN = 2 -> convert species to mass density (gm/cm3) C (except ne, o+, and o2+ which remain number density) Field labels have been changed to reflect this correction. You need not make any changes to the executable part of the script. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused. --Ben foster@ncar.ucar.edu (303) 497-1595
