Ray may have mentioned to you that I found a bug in the calculations
of the ion drift velocities that I sent you just before your trip to
Japan. Enclosed are the new calculations for the same 13 locations.
These plots include neutral winds (un,vn), as well as ui,vi,wi with
and without the Richmond efield calculation. There is one day of data
on the x-axes (hourly histories, so 25 points). The fields are 
interpolated to a linear height scale from 70 to 200 km (2 km resolution). 
I'm hoping these new plots will agree better with your data. I'm sorry
I didn't catch the bug before your Japan trip (I remember your email),
but perhaps they can be included in the paper with Ray.
