I often use ishell with rcp to transfer metacode and data files 
from shavano to a user specified internet path (machine:path)
at the end of a shavano fortran code. This works 80-90% of the
time, but when it fails the jobs have to be rerun. I can tell
in my code when it fails, and would like to try something else
when it does. I could put them on mss but then users would have
to transfer them later and probably wouldn't delete them from
the mss. This is probably not a proper use of mss.

The MIGS quick reference indicates that file transfers are
available to and from MASnet nodes
