I have put a tar file of the source code for Roble's global
means model on the machine hao.hao.ucar.edu. You should ftp
to that machine, then cd to /pub/foster, and get the file
nglbmeans.tar.

Then untar that file ("tar xf nglbmeans.tar") into a directory
on your home machine -- it should dump all the subroutines
and header files, a Makefile, and an input file. This is the
1d model, but it runs only on Cray machines. You will need to
get an account on the Cray machines at NCAR -- see the URL
http://www.scd.ucar.edu/info/newuser.html. Then you can adapt
the script you sent me to tar the source, transfer it to the
Cray, and compile and run the model. Tim and Alan can help you 
with that.
