To: kerry@geophys.washington.edu Subject: Re: accessing files Kerry: There is a file on ftp "eqtran.e5577.ps" dated Apr 16. This appears to be ht-integrated greenline emission from the new full year run. I think the delta time on the x-axis is 10 days (~36 points). To get this file you can go to the web site ftp://ftp.hao.ucar.edu:122/ and follow links to pub/ and foster/. I have also just now put another file there called eqtran.tn.ps -- maybe simliar to the tn.1yr.ps file you mentioned. If you can get logged onto an hao machine w/ gonzalo's account, go to /vishnu/e/foster/eqtran -- there are several more files there from this 1-yr run. Yes, I should be able to get you data files in the format Gonzalo likes, tho I'm not sure yet about the time resolution -- I will look into it. Let me know when you get the above files. Thanks, --Ben Hello Ben, I was hoping you could help me locate some files. Ray sent Gonzalo a message a few weeks ago (~Apr. 16, I think) that there were a few files to look at. Supposedly, via ftp, there were E5577.1yr.ps and tn.1yr.ps in /pub/foster. Then, there was another file in /ouray/e/roble/eqtrans. Well, there were no such files on the ftp site, and I have been unable to access Gonzalo's account to look for the other file. While this fits in quite nicely with the type of week I've had, it's not ultimately useful. I just got the message forwarded to me this week, so I'm hoping that the files haven't been wiped away already. Any ideas? Gonzalo also mentioned that the year-long run has finished and I might be able to ask you for some actual data files (not just plots). He said that you'd be familiar with the type of output he uses. Is this true? Let me know, then I can figure out specifically what to ask you for so that it's not too big of a request. Thanks very much! Kerry
