John: As we discussed at the Chapman meeting last month, we are interested in using the 15 micron radiance data you have available from shuttle flights for comparison with Roble's timesgcm model. Is this the CIRRIS-1A spectrometer data from STS-39? Do you need any info from me re the gcm? The timesgcm model has a 3d spatial grid (5deg lat x 5deg lon x 45 pressure levels down to about 30 km). I can interpolate model results to space/time of your measurements. I guess ascii data would be easiest to transfer. I can rewrite it in a sun or cray binary form to reduce the size if necessary. Maybe you could put files on anonymous ftp somewhere. --Ben foster@ncar.ucar.edu 303-497-1595
