Sylvia Murphy (CGD) will speak on Data Processing and Visualization
Support for the Community Climate System Model at CGD, including a
demonstration and tour of the CSM Support Network web site

ABSTRACT:

Sylvia Murphy was hired three years ago to develop NCL software for the post 
processing and vizualization of Community Climate System Model Data. Since the 
CCSM has a broad user community spread around the world, Sylvia decided to 
disseminate her software via the internet.  This has saved the model developers 
countless hours and has ensured consistent calculations and appearence of model 
analysis products. Sylvia is interested in providing a simliar service for HAO 
and will demonstrate her web site, the power of NCL, post processing diagnositcs
packages that have been developed, and actual NCL plots of HAO data.  Her
