Vince and Ken: Turns out, I did save the post-model files that I ran last September on a different disk. I have copied them to the anonymous ftp dir on hao so you can pick them up anytime. Here's a copy of the mail I sent you last Sept 20th, however, I have NOT put the tar file of the IDL code (pltascii.tar) over, as this msg says. --Ben I have put the following files in anonymous ftp on hao.hao.ucar.edu (directory /pub/foster): -rw-r--r-- 1 foster staff 331551 Sep 20 10:58 bearlake.eqnx.dat -rw-rw-r-- 1 foster staff 887163 Sep 20 10:57 bearlake.eqnx.ps -rw-r--r-- 1 foster staff 331551 Sep 20 13:45 bearlake.solst.dat -rw-rw-r-- 1 foster staff 933679 Sep 20 13:45 bearlake.solst.ps -rw-rw-r-- 1 foster staff 276480 Sep 8 11:40 pltascii.tar The 1st 2 files are from the equinox run, and the 2nd 2 are from the solstice run. The .dat files are ascii data (similiar to the files I sent last May), and the .ps files are postscript contours. There are 11 frames in each file: ut on the x-axis (hourly for 1 day), height (35-120km) on the y-axis, for the fields t,u,v,o2,o3,o,oh,ho2, h,w, and n2. All species are number densities (cm3). The last file is a tar file of IDL code that will read and plot from the ascii files. I have used it only on Sun machines running Solaris, but it probably works on other platforms as well. It is not well documented, but has a GUI, so you can figure it out (be sure to hit return after entering strings in text fields). Let me know if pltascii works ok, and if there's anything else I can do. --Ben ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Ben Foster High Altitude Observatory (HAO) foster@ncar.ucar.edu phone: 303-497-1595 fax: 303-497-1589 Nat.
