This letter is to voice my strong support for NCAR's
acquisition of video projectors for the seminar rooms
at the Mesa and Foothills Labs. The use of video animations
is an increasingly important tool for time-dependent
studies of our model results. 

We have developed a series of animations on video tape 
which will be shown at the CEDAR science meeting later 
this month, and for which we are renting a video projector.   

We would use video projectors in the NCAR auditoriums to
show time sequences of model results at seminars and science 
discussions.
